Birthday Star Shaker with PI

Because of medical, I've been away from blogging for some time.  I will also be moving to another blog very soon.

I have a new card I'd like to show you.  I've used the MFT Pure Innocence Birthday Cutie stamp set and die, also star die, several inks and markers.  This was made for my daughter who has been treated many times for various brain cancers and other related items.  I wanted to make this a card that soars into the realm of pretty colors.

Firstly the clouds were inked while using MFT Stencil Cloud.  There's pink yellow, green and purple to brighten her up visually.  Secondly I centered the star die slightly off to the right and die cut.  Stamped cutie Pure Innocence, colored and die cut.  Then I made the shaker area, and popped up PI using several 3D foam squares.  It felt good using my star dies because I've had the set a long, long time and hadn't used it. I love MFT's cardstock.... it's a definite, feel-good 100# weight.

I also decorated an envelope using the same cloud stencil and colors, and the balloon that PI is holding, and stamped the sentiment from this set "Happy Birthday, Cutie".

When my daughter saw the envelope, she was tickled pink with the different colored clouds and some floating balloons.  Then she opened the envelope, pulled out the card, and my goodness!  She was ecstatic at her card.  Her very first shaker card with a little girl like her on the front.  AND the shaker was filled with a sparkly mix of a few of her favorite colors.

I like it alot because balloons float into the air, clouds are up there as well as stars.  Imagination can have little PI standing upon a cloud.  I love how this card turned out--esp. after being away from card making a long while.

May all your goodnesses be blessed   --->>   Parker
